Mentors, as well as mentees, should be learning in the relationship. ![]() Thus, i mportant aspects of communicatio n in mentoring relationships are to always convey a posture of humility. While the mentor may have a clear role as the leader in some real sense in the relationship, he or she still needs to learn and grow as a disciple of Christ. To begin, mentoring relationships are about both the mentor and the mentee seeking to live together as faithful and fruitful disciples of Christ. ![]() In light of this, it would be helpful to address this important element of mentoring relationships in more detail.
